Mock viva was held at our lab, old civil building..
Viva for 2 colleagues, its for the preparation of the viva for masters..
Lot of things been stressed out by Prof, will update later..no time to type now...will get back to u all!
Questions been asked by Prof:
- How do u know that this method is cheaper?
- Have u make any comparison?
- relevance of objective to your work?
- of all heavy metals, y only nickel?
- there are a lot of contaminated area, y x study other metals?
- which is more advantages? production of methane or sulphide?
- y nagaoka?
- how u know mpb or srb?
- if u get it from someone else, how can u verify whether it is correct?
- how much surpluss of H2S in your experiment?
- where did it go if sulphide does not fully react with heavy metals?
- look at the mass balance n explain
- y decide 3ppm Cu?
- y choose pearson?
- possible pathway for sulphide oxidation?
- how did u know that the assumption is correct?
- what are the probles associated with sulphide?
at least i got the overview on the questions been asked by panels n i can prepare some answers..hope my viva time, i can answer all question ask by panel confidently although it seems impossible..! ill try my best from now on to understand what im doing, look back at all the basic things and try to generate on question just to trigger me..! he..:-)
